Famous Smoke Shop Cigar Expo & BBQ Bash 2008 adds "Camacho Cup" Golf Tournament to Festivities

Famous Smoke Shop has just announced their second annual "Camacho Cup" golf tournament. Sponsored by Camacho Cigars, the tournament will take place on Friday, June 6th at 9:00 AM, rain or shine, at Riverview Country Club in Easton. PA.

Poised on the scenic Delaware River, Riverview C.C. is an 18 hole championship course that is considered to be one of the Lehigh Valley's premier public golf venues. The tournament will be held in a "best ball" format, with 20 teams of four comprising 80 total players.

"Groups may enter the tournament," said Famous Smoke Shop Retail Store manager, Jeff Brown, "but all players are welcome, and will be assigned to teams. Given the success of last year's Camacho Cup, this year's event promises to be bigger and potentially more lucrative," added Mr. Brown.

Each player will receive a Camacho Cigars goodie bag and a coupon for a free Magique compact golf bag. All par 3 holes will offer prizes, including a Bose Wave Sound System, a set of golf irons, and a Dell computer. Prizes will also be awarded for "longest drive" and "closest to the hole," plus there will be a $50,000 grand prize for any confirmed "hole-in-one."

The two-day Famous Cigar Expo & BBQ Bash 2008 will follow on Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th on the Famous Smoke Shop premises at 1100 Conroy Place in Easton, PA.  Among the list of confirmed cigar manufacturers are Joe Chiusano of Cusano Cigars, Carlos Diez of Reyes Family Cigars, Jonathan Drew of ACID Cigars, Christian Eiroa of Camacho Cigars, Rocky Patel, Jorge Padron, and Alan Rubin of Alec Bradley Cigars.
 
All Famous Cigar Expo attendees will receive over $150 in premium cigars per day attended. Barbequed chicken, ribs, and pork, plus side dishes, beer, and soft drinks are included in the cost of the ticket. Courtesy of Altadis, U.S.A., Playboy Playmates will make an appearance in support of the new Playboy Cigars. Plus the CAO Flavourettes will also be appearing courtesy of CAO Cigars. Over $40,000 worth of merchandise will be raffled off, including trips to cigar factories in Central America, rare cigars, limited edition humidors, lighters, cutters, and two grand prize JEEP SUV's.

Tickets for the Camacho Cup cost $95 per player and include greens fees, golf cart, the Camacho Cigars goodie bag, and a post-tournament hot buffet.

Tickets for the Famous Cigar Expo cost $125/person per day (Saturday or Sunday), and will be limited to 300 attendees per day. For $200, "Two-Day" tickets are available, but are limited to only 30 tickets. Famous Cigar Expo tickets can also be purchased online.
