Two Stabbed During Screening of Horror Film “The Signal” in California Theater

Two men sitting in different sections of a Fullerton, California movie theater were stabbed by an unknown assailant on Sunday night.

The stabbings occurred at the AMC Fullerton Town 20 theater during the screening of the horror film “The Signal.”

According to Fullerton Police Lt. Tom Basham the assailant “started stabbing at the theater seat and then he stabbed the victim. As he fled, he stabbed another victim sitting near the exit.”

One of the victims was taken to UCI Medical Center after being stabbed in the arm, which then punctured his chest. The second victim was taken to St. Jude Medical Center with a stab wound to the arm. Both men are expected to recover.
