Insmed Incorporated (INSM) to Release Q4 2007 Earnings March 4

Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2007 on March 4.

A biopharmaceutical company, Insmed Incorporated focuses on the development and commercialization of drugs for the treatment of metabolic diseases, endocrine disorders and oncology.  Development includes drugs to modulate insulin like growth factor-1 activity.

The company also researches and develops IPLEX for non-growth disorder indications.  A clinical study for the drug as initiated in the Unite States, as well as studies for rhlGBP-3 and INSM-18 for cancer treatment. 

Insamed agreed to cease the commercialization of IPLEX, to treat child growth failure with severe primary IGF-1 deficiency, in a settlement agreement with Tercica Inc (NASDAQ:TRCA) and Genentech Inc (NYSE:DNA).
