John Wood Group plc (WG) to Release Preliminary 2007 Earnings March 4

John Wood Group plc (LON:WG) will release the preliminary 2007 earnings on March 4.

Operating in 44 countries, Wood Group is an energy services company.  The company is organized into three business segments, Engineering and Production  Facilities, Well Support and Gas Turbine Services.

Engineering and Production Facilities offers a variety of life of field support such as Greenfield engineering design, construction management and commissioning and brownfield engineering. 

Well Support provides services, products and solutions which are designed to maintain and enhance production rates from oil fields and gas reservoirs to control pressure at the well.

Gas Turbine Services provides maintenance and repair services for gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and other high speed rotating equipment, such as pumps and compressors.

The Wood Group acquired Global Performance Holdings Inc in March 2006 and purchased 55% of Somias Spa in may 2006.
