Ted Koppel Speaks Out on Sons Death

Former ABC newsman Ted Koppel has released a statement on the sudden death of his only son, New York City attorney Andrew Koppel. Andrew, 40, died Monday after a day-long drinking binge.

“Our son, Andrew, was a brilliant, caring man, whose loss we will mourn for the rest of our lives,” the Koppel family said in a statement Tuesday.
