Rosacea Treatment Reviewed by Dallas Dermatologist, William Abramovits

Rosacea treatment options are now available online from Dallas dermatologist William Abramovits, M.D.



Dr. Abramovits provides his patients with convenient access to rosacea treatment information to help them better manage their rosacea.

 

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness and swelling of the face that can also affect the scalp, neck, ears, chest, and back.  Eye symptoms (ocular rosacea) are also reported by half of people with rosacea. Although there is no cure for rosacea, a variety of rosacea treatments are available that will reduce its appearance and prevent further progression.

 

Dr. William Abramovits provides his patients and the greater Dallas community with online access to handouts about rosacea including detailed information on the signs and symptoms of  rosacea, roscea subtypes, a rosacea diary and rosacea treatment options including  laser and light therapies, life style and skin care modifications, topical medications as well as Oracea® for Rosacea and other oral medications.

William Abramovits, M.D., FAAD is a Dallas dermatologist who graduated from medical school at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Dr. Abramovits is in private practice at Dermatology Treatment & Research Center. He is a Professor of Dermatology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He is also a clinical instructor in the Department of Dermatology.
