The Ghostwalker Program: Enhanced, Entranced and Romanced

Military personnel from Iraq, Afghanistan and other places all over the world find the series entertaining and respectful.  The Ghostwalker series, also called the Game Books, is an ever-increasingly popular series with military personnel as well as the general public.  And the newest novel, Predatory Game, has been long anticipated.

The series has caused Feehan to search out military personnel, scientists, physicists and doctors as she infuses the novels with serious research and probable outcomes in a very realistic way.  Her strength in these novels has always included deep research and respect for the military personnel she knows will read the books.

Predatory Game, though part of a series, is easy to follow without having to read the previous books, thus making it a great starting place for those new to the series. The main hero of the story is unique because he’s handicapped. The author does an impressive job of keeping the character realistic in his limitations, while still giving him all of the traits of her previous heroes. 

Her heroine is also unique and sends the book to a level that will carry it to the top of the bestseller lists.  Saber looks young and innocent, but she’s a trained assassin who has been genetically engineered to posses an ability that allows her to kill with a touch. 

Saber is on the run from the scientists who created her.  When she takes a job as a late night radio announcer she meets up with the station’s owner, Jesse Calhoun.  But, is it coincidence, fate or something else that has led her to the Ghostwalker? 

The romance between the two deadly enemies start out sweet and innocent enough as the two are, at first, oblivious to the hidden powers and covert history of the other. The relationship starts to take on a darker side as the two slowly realize how dangerous the other is.
