Hospital Security Guard Discovers Dead Baby Outside Building

A security guard at Denver’s Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center discovered the body of an infant girl outside the hospital on Tuesday evening.

The guard found the girl tucked in a basket shortly after somebody rang the call box located by the doorway around 7:30 p.m. Once inside the baby was pronounced dead.

Police are still investigating the case and have yet to determine if the baby was alive when she was left outside the building.
