Meggitt Plc (MGGT) to Release Preliminary 2007 Earnings March 4

(LON:MGGT) will release the preliminary earnings for 2007 on March 4.
Meggitt
designs and manufactures equipment and systems for industries such as aerospace
and defense. The company is also engages
in the design and manufacture of electronic sensors combined with related
businesses.
The
company’s Aerospace equipment provides wheels and brakes, thermal management
systems, fluid control products, fire, overheat and smoke detection and polymer
and composite seals, such as medical, defense, industrial and test and
measurement.
The company’s
Sensing systems offer condition monitoring, such as aerospace and industrial,
and high performance sensors.
Defence
systems provide training systems, such as fire and virtual and combat systems.
The company
acquired Keith Products LLP on September 12, 2006, Firearms Training Systems
Inc on October 19, 2006 and K&F Industries Holdings Inc in June 2007.
Meggitt PLC
sold S-TEC to Cobham plc (LON:COB) in January 2008.
