Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to Perform Live at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex April 28

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be performing live at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina on April 28 at 7:30 pm.

An American songwriter, singer and guitarist, Bruce Springsteen toured with the E Street Band several times since 1972. Springsteen is known for his heartland rock style of music mixed with pop hooks, poetic lyrics and Americana sentiments. The musician has won eighteen Grammy Awards and an Academy Award. Springsteen’s most popular albums include, Born to Run and Born in the U.S.A and has sold over 60 million albums within the United States alone.

An indoor area, the Greensboro Coliseum Complex stands in Greensboro, North Carolina and housed the Carolina Hurricanes from 1997 to 1999.  The venue was built in 1959, originally as the War Memorial Coliseum, however it was renamed the Greensboro Coliseum in the 1960’s.

The facility has a seating capacity of 9,200, making it one of the largest southern arenas, although, over the years the capacity has increased to 15,000.  After heavy renovations in 1993, the venue can now seat 21,273 for ice hockey and almost 23,500 for basketball.  The facility also offers a special events center, spanning 180,000 square feet and 2,300 seats are available in the War Memorial Auditorium.
