Holistic drug rehab combines Mind, Body, Spirit program for increased effectiveness in drug rehab

For more than twelve years, Mountainside Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center has been the definitive model for holistic drug rehab, globally. While utilizing traditional drug addiction treatment methods in conjunction with an individualized approach, Mountainside has created a treatment model that has won the attention of the drug rehab industry in this country and overseas.
“We decided in the beginning that we were going to do things differently, but not just for the sake of being different,” begins a spokesperson for Mountainside Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center. “Our research showed us that if we combined what was currently available within the drug rehab industry with practices from Eastern influences, we would have a powerhouse drug addiction treatment program that would become the model for all drug rehabs, worldwide. What we developed is now known as holistic drug rehab treatment which is, simply put, viewing and treating the addicted individual as a whole, instead of in splintered parts. Part of our treatment offering is our Mind-Body-Spirit program, in which participants learn stress reduction techniques that are individualized for them and which help them take a deeper look at their own vision of health and healing as part of a lifelong process of recovery. Through this program, we’re able to offer modalities such as meditation and Tai Chi while incorporating individual and group counseling that is individualized to fit the needs of each person. We focus on the treatment of the whole individual which results in a much more positive, worthwhile, not to mention highly successful, experience for the addicted individual.”
For more than 12 years, Mountainside Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center has led the way in offering an individualized alcohol and drug addiction treatment program.

In addition to its licensed and certified counselors and social workers, Mountainside provides medical services through an on-staff Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Nurse with specializations in drug addiction and alcohol treatment. Psychiatric services are available when needed.
