Bobbi DePorter, president of Quantum Learning Network, today announced the launch of the company’s new Quantum Learning blog. “We're excited to have this place to share knowledge about learning and teaching and what works with kids,” said Ms. DePorter. “We're dedicated to reaching and helping as many kids as we can and we are confident that in sharing with parents and teachers through this blog, we will make a difference for ever-growing numbers of kids.”
Ms. DePorter went on to say that students and schools are at a critical crossroads. There is a need to inspire and prepare today's youth for success in tomorrow's global workforce. When kids believe in themselves they can achieve great things. They gain confidence to succeed in many ways when they like and respect themselves and others, when they increase their intrinsic motivation, when they gain an understanding of how to adapt their knowledge to a constantly changing world, and when they increase their personal boundaries of creativity and innovation.
Over the last 25-plus years of Quantum Learning school programs for educators and SuperCamp summer camp programs for students, Quantum Learning Network has acquired a wealth of knowledge about effective learning, effective teaching, building confidence in youth, and developing positive relationships with children, especially teenagers.
Quantum Learning is a powerful methodology that began with a small summer academic and life skills summer camp program called SuperCamp - a place where kids felt great about themselves and their potential. As SuperCamp grew educators became aware of its success through their students and began asking if programs based on the same Quantum Learning methods could be developed for schools.
The results achieved by the Quantum Learning methods used at SuperCamp and in our school programs for educators and students are remarkable and well documented.
