Boyd Coddington Dead at 63
Coddington began building cars at the age of 13. He went on to win several prestigious awards for his work including the Al Slonaker Award and the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster Award, which he won seven times. Coddington took home the Daimler-Chrysler Design Excellence Award twice.
He also had his own reality show, American Hot Rod, on the Discovery Channel from 2004 to 2007. Coddington is survived he his wife, three sons and grandchildren.
