Mall Explosion in Waukegan, Illinois, Firefighters Battling Blaze

An explosion at a Waukegan, Illinois shopping mall has led authorities to close off several streets as firefighters battle a blaze and officials ensure there are no gas leaks in the area.

According to ABC7Chicago there have been several injuries reported by authorities but no fatalities.

The Waukegan, Illinois shopping mall is located on 1926 Grand Ave. and the explosion gutted the Tuxedo World, Cleopatra’s Unisex Hair Salon, Cellular Concepts and a travel agency.
