Drummer Buddy Miles Dies At 60

Buddy Miles died Tuesday night at the age of 60. The drummer, who played with Jimmy Hendrix, suffered from congestive heart failure.

Miles played for The Delfonics, The Ink Spot, and Wilson Picket. He performed with famous artists like Stevie Wonder, Muddy Waters, Barry White, David Bowie, George Clinton Santana and Bootsy Collins. Miles was the drummer on Hendrix’s album “Electric Ladyland.” He co-founded the Band of Gypsys.
