Sheriff’s Deputy and Two Daughters Killed, Son Charged with Murder

A Georgia sheriff’s deputy and her two daughters were discovered dead inside their Lawrenceville home on Thursday and police arrested the deputy’s 17-year-old son and charged him with the murders.

Joy Deleston, 39, a seven-year veteran of the Gwinnett County Police Department along with her daughters Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4, were found shot to death Thursday night after police arrived at the home following a call that reported shots fired.

Shortly after the police arrived Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. appeared at the house and after speaking with investigators he was arrested.
