Provident Financial plc (LON:PFG) will release the preliminary earnings for 2007 on March 4.

An international company, Provident Financial plc engages in the provision of home credit, a credit card product and motor insurance.  The company’s primary focus is on the home credit business where it offers short-term, unsecured loans to its customers in the United Kingdom and certain foreign markets.

Vanquis Bank was established by the company to offer credit cards that are tailored to the customer’s needs.  Vanquis customers have average and below average incomes.

Central European markets consist of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary as well as Mexico.
