Natalee Holloway Mom Speaks Out on Joran Van der Sloot Arrest

Beth Twitty has spoken out about the arrest of Joran Van der Sloot, the Dutchman once considered a suspect in her daughter’s disappearance. Van der Sloot was arrested Thursday in the murder of Stephany Flores Ramirez, who was found stabbed in a Peru hotel room on Wednesday. In 2005, he was arrested twice but never charged in the disappearance of Twitty’s teenage daughter Natalie Holloway.

“Beth Holloway extends her deepest sympathy to the family of Stephany Flores Ramirez and prays for swift and sure justice,” a family spokesperson said Thursday. “She is also very grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support for Natalee and her family.”
