South Korea Turns to UN for Action Against North Following Sinking of Warship

South Korea has turned to the United Nations, appealing to the Security Council to take action against North Korea following an investigation that found North Korea responsible for the sinking of warship in March.

While the actions South Korea wants the UN to take have not been outlined it has been made clear they do want the North to admit their wrongdoing.

Up to this point North Korea has denied any involvement in the alleged torpedo strike that killed 46 sailors and sunk the warship.

The United States and South Korea are scheduled to hold joint military exercises but that could be postponed until the UN decides what action they will take against the North.
