Two Killed in Florida as Planes Collide at Airport

Two people were killed at a small Florida airport on Saturday when a pair of planes collided and burst into flames.

 

According to reports a plane that had been flying low or was just landing struck a plane that was taxiing on the Arthur Dunn Airpark runway in Titusville. Two passengers in the taxiing plane were killed after their aircraft burst into flames.

 

The second plane tumbled nearly 100 yards and caught fire after coming to rest on a grass median. Two occupants in that craft were rescued and transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with one victim in “grave” condition and the other has been listed in extremely critical condition.
