John McCain Leads Pennsylvania Poll Released by Rasmussen Reports

Here are the latest results from the Pennsylvania poll by Rasmussen Reports published on USAElectionPolls.com:

McCain draws support from 63% of men and 54% of women. Huckabee attracts 28% of men and 32% of women.

McCain’s holds the smallest lead over Huckabee among young voters. Among voters under 30, McCain leads 44% to 38%. The frontrunner is ahead by at least twenty points in all other age groups.

Eighty-two percent (82%) of Pennsylvania GOP Primary voters view McCain favorably, while 18% view him unfavorably. Huckabee is viewed favorably by 75% and unfavorably by 24%. Paul earns positive feedback from 31% and negative ratings from 55%.

If McCain is chosen as the Republican nominee in the general election, 80% believe he is at least somewhat likely to be elected president in November. Just 16% disagree.

A plurality of Pennsylvania GOP primary voters (36%) believes the economy is the most important issue in the upcoming election. National Security comes in at a distant second with 17% and the War in Iraq is the top issue for 16%.
