Alba, Texas Family Murdered, Three High School Students Among Those Charged in Crime

An early morning attack on a remote household in Alba, Texas has left a mother and two children dead and a father recovering from serious injuries. Now police are holding three high school students and an adult for the crimes, each will be facing three counts of murder.

In the attack the four being charged apparently ambushed the family, shooting them early Saturday morning before setting the house ablaze. Investigators are still trying to determine if the 39-year-old mother and her 8 and 13 year-old sons died from gunshots or the fire.

The father was able to drag himself to a neighbor’s house after suffering a gunshot wound.

The four arrested, two males and two females, were being held at the Rains County jail.
