School Bus Crash in Georgia Leaves Dozens Injured

A school bus carrying students from Sequoyah High School and Dean Rusk Middle School overturned Monday morning leaving up to two dozen students injured, two of those students have been listed in critical condition.

The accident occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. after the driver apparently lost control of the bus along Highway 140 near Canton, Ga.

There were 25 students aboard the bus at the time of the accident. The two critically injured students were airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Atlanta Medical Center. Seven students were taken to North Fulton Hospital suffering from neck and back injuries and another 16 students were taken to Northside Cherokee Hospital.
