Suspect in Police Custody after Middle Georgia College Scare

The Middle Georgia College campus was placed on lockdown earlier this afternoon following reports of a gunman being spotted on the grounds of the Cochran, Georgia school grounds.

According to the Middle Georgia College Web Site “The Middle Georgia College Cochran campus is no longer under lockdown and the college has resumed its normal operations. The alleged suspect, who is not an MGC student, is now in police custody.”

The message went on to say, “There will be no further interruption to classes.”
