Staples Inc (SPLS) to Release Q4 2007 Earnings March 4

Staples Inc (NASDAQ:SPLS) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2007 on March 4.

An office products company, Staples offers a range of office supplies and services, business machines and related products, computers and related products and office furniture.

The company is organized into three business segments, North American Retail, North American Delivery and International operations.

North American Retail is comprised of the United States and Canadian business units operating office products stores.

North American Delivery is comprised of United States and Canadian business units selling and delivering office products and services to customers directly.

International operations include active units that operate office products stores involved in the selling and delivery of office products and services to customers in 19 countries throughout Europe, South America and Asia.

Staples acquired American Identity, a corporate branded merchandise distributor, from Republic Financial Corporation in May 2007.
