Fort Lewis Soldier Held in Murders, Abduction of Infant

A Fort Lewis female soldier in Tacoma, Washington is being held at the Pierce County Jail, charged with suspicion of murder and abduction.

Police believe the 22-year-old soldier shot and killed two other soldiers who were medics at Madigan Army Medical Center at Fort Lewis. It is believed she then took the couple’s 7-month-old daughter and fled the house.

The bodies of the two soldiers were discovered inside a house on Sunday and their daughter was missing. When police arrested the female soldier they found the baby unharmed.
