Alon USA Energy Inc (ALJ) to Release Q4 2007 Earnings March 5

Alon USA Energy Inc (NYSE:ALJ) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2007 on March 5.

Alon USA refines and markets petroleum products throughout the Southwester and South Central regions of the United States.

The company operates within three business segments, refining and marketing, asphalt and retail.  Refining and marketing owns and operates four sour and heavy crude oil refineries in Texas, California and Oregon.  The refineries have a combined capacity of 170,000 barrels and refines gasoline, diesel fuel, petrochemical, feedstocks, asphalt and specialty blended asphalts.

The company markets gasoline and diesel under the FINA brand to 1,200 locations. 

Through the retail segment the company is operating 206 branded 7-Eleven locations in West Texas and New Mexico.  The 7-Eleven locations offer merchandize, food products and mother fuels under the 7-Eleven and FINA brand names.
