Study - Audio Conferencing Plays Role in Better Business Performance
Business people confirm that widespread use of audio conferencing is tied to stronger business performance
Brockmann & Company, the customer insight firm released its latest independent report on audio conferencing and its relationship to business performance. The report, entitled "Perspectives on Audio Conferencing" reviews audio conferencing habits of 460 users in business organizations from around the world.
Peter Brockmann, President of Brockmann & Company said, "It should come as no surprise that organizations with heavy collaboration workflows and strong investments in collaboration technologies like audio conferencing are better equipped to create value for customers. They can respond faster, they are more attentive to customer needs and they are more satisfied with the conferencing experience."
This report also showed that customers were the second most frequent audio conferencing participant after coworkers and higherups. Among decision criteria affecting audio conferencing choices, reliability and ease of operation were the two most frequently cited criteria. Lower prices were considered quite lowly on the criteria list, which speaks well for competitive markets.
"Today, enterprise decision makers have many choices for their audio conferencing solutions including conferencing specialists, phone companies, free conferencing services, enterprise equipment purchases and open source software solutions," added Brockmann.
