Acting on a phone call from a concerned relative Memphis police forced their way into a house on Monday evening and discovered the bodies of four adults and two children, each suffering from gunshot wounds. Police also found three more children with injuries; all had been transported to a local hospital.
The three children found alive were taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center. Those children were listed as seven, four and a 10-month-old. One child has been upgraded to stable condition, another has been upgraded to critical and the third remains in extremely critical condition.
It remains unclear how old the deceased victims were but police have said the two children were under 12-years-old.
Police have released little information about a suspect or if they believe the killer was one of the bodies discovered inside the home.
