Google (GOOG) to Speak at Stearns & Co Inc (BSC) Media Conference March 10

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) will speak at the Stearns & Co Inc (NYSE:BSC) Media Conference on March 10 at 2:00 pm.

Google is involved in the maintenance of an index of websites and online content which is made available to anyone with an internet connection.  The automated search technology allows surfers to get instant access to information online.  The company generates revenue through its online advertising programs.  Many businesses use Google’s AdWords program for product and service promotion with targeted advertising.  Several third party websites also utilize the company’s AdSense program for ad delivery to generate revenue.

Google acquired Postini Inc, an information security and compliance solutions provider, in September 2007.
