(NASDAQ:IACI) will speak at the Bear Stearns & Co Inc (NYSE:BSC) media
conference on Monday, March 10 at 2:40 pm.
IAC
InterActiveCorp is engaged in business sectors that have been affected by the
Internet, on and offline. The company
portfolio includes specialized and global brands in the retailing, services,
media & advertising and membership & subscriptions sectors. Retailing operates in US and International
segments. Services include ticketing,
lending, real estate, teleservices and home services reporting. Membership & subscriptions include
vacations, personals and discount reporting.
The company
acquired a 51% stake in Connected Ventures LLC, of CollegeHumor.com, in August
2006.
IAC began
its IAC Programming in its Emerging Business group to buy and build branded
online content properties during the year ended December 31, 2006.
PRC LLC,
the company’s Teleservices subsidiary, was sold in January 2006.
The company
acquired Shoebuy.com Inc, a footwear internet retailer, in January 2006.
