Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to Perform at the General Motors Place March 31

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be performing live at the General Motors Place on Monday, March 31 at 7:30 pm.

 

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have toured together many times since 1972.  Bruce Springsteen is often known for his “heartland rock” music style which is often combined with pop hooks, poetic lyrics and American sentiments.  The singer and guitarist is the winner of eighteen Grammy Awards and an Academy Award.  His most popular albums are Born to Run and Born in the USA, selling over 60 million albums in the United States alone.

 

The General Motors Place is an indoor arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada that is sponsored by General Motors Canada.  The venue was built in 1995 costing $160 million and now stands as the home of the Vancouver Canucks of the NHL.  Previous tenants include the Vancouver Grizzlies of the NBA and the Vancouver Ravens of the NLL.

 

The facility has 88 luxury suites, 12 hospitality suites and 2, 195 club seats with a total capacity of 18,630 for ice hockey and 19,193 for basketball games.
