Gnarls Barkley's newest video for its single "Run" was banned from MTV on Wednesday. However, the video is available on Finditt.
The video's strobe effects failed the Harding Test, the guidelines established to prevent television images that trigger epileptic seizures.
“Run” centers around the fictional public access TV show “City Vibin”‘ and is set in the early 1990s. Justin Timberlake makes a cameo as the host of the program, on which Danger Mouse and fellow Gnarls Barkley principal Cee-Lo then perform the track.
Their new album The Odd Couple is set to be released on April. Gnarls Barkley is set to shoot a video for the second single, “Who’s Gonna Save My Soul.”
The group is also rehearsing for summer tour dates, which include a July 27 show at Los Angeles‘ Hollywood Bowl and both U.S. and European festivals.
