The FBI is investigating an explosion at New York’s Time Square early this morning. U.S. Homeland Security officials the explosion has not been linked to terrorism yet. The explosion occurred at a U.S. military recruiting office around 3:45 am this morning.
It appears that the explosion was from a homemade bomb. No one was injured in the blast. Glass from the recruiting center was shattered but no other damages were reported. Police initially blocked 42nd and 44th street, but reopened the area for rush hour.
