Report of Hand Grenade at Atlanta Building Housing IRS Offices, Employees Evacuated

A report of a hand grenade found at a downtown Atlanta building that houses offices for the Internal Revenue Service as well as other government agencies has led to an evacuation as police cordon off the surrounding area.

According to reports a grenade was found at the Peachtree Summit Federal Building sometime around 12:45 p.m.

It is not known if the object found was a live hand grenade.
