Dallas photographer Kevin Brown recently finished shooting country legend Janie Fricke’s latest album cover in his Fort Worth photography studio. Fricke was CMA Female Vocalist of the Year two years running, in 1982 and 1983.
Kevin Brown's desire to “get the shot” is just one of the things that drives him as a photographer, whether his clients need just one photo or thousands.
Kevin Brown makes it a point to understand his clients’ vision and goals, and conveys his ideas about the project to his clients. He believes that open lines of communication are essential to creating great photography. Most importantly, he listens...and asks the right questions to make sure that he and his clients are on the same page, creatively and otherwise.
Kevin Brown's interest in photography began at an early age. He had a black and white darkroom at age ten. At age fifteen he landed a job as a staff photographer for his home town newspaper. From there, he went on to work for two larger papers. As an Associated Press award winning photographer, he had photos picked up on the AP wire on a regular basis.
Now, at age 41, his love of photography and his passion for creativity still drive him. Whether he's shooting on an off-shore drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico or shooting from the sidelines of a college football game, Kevin Brown is at home...behind the camera.
