Indiana Man Arrested after 6,700 Pounds of Marijuana Discovered Following Speeding Ticket

An Indiana man is facing some serious charges and will likely be spending a bit of time behind bars and he has only himself to blame.

 

Matthew McChesney, 29, was stopped for speeding on Wednesday afternoon and police soon discovered a little more than ten pounds of marijuana and over $100,000 in cash inside the car.

 

Police then got a search warrant for McChesney’s rented home in Harlan, Ind. and found more than 6,700 pounds of marijuana. The estimated street value of was placed at $6 million.

 

McChesney is now being held without bond at the Allen County Lockup.
