Thrift Store Worker Returns $30,000 Found in Box of Donated Clothes

Barbarita Nunez, a thrift store worker in Southern California discovered a small box amidst a pile of donated clothing and upon opening the box she found an envelope that contained $30,000 in cash.

 

Nunez turned the money over to her supervisor who then contacted the individual who donated the clothing. As it turned out the clothes and the money had belonged to a woman who had recently died. The money was then given to the family who gave Nunez a cash reward.

 

With her reward money Nunez said she would send money to her mother in Mexico so that she could receive an eye operation and with the rest she will buy a digital camera.
