Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers to Perform Live at the BankAtlantic Center July 17

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will be performing live at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida on Tuesday, July 17 at 7:30 pm as part of their North American Tour.  Steve Windwood will be joining them and open for every show.

Singer, songwriter and guitarist, Thomas Earl Petty is known for hit songs, “Dont Do Me Like That”, “Refugee”, “Runnin Down a Dream”, “The Waiting”, “Dont Come Around Here No More”, “I Wont Back Down”, “Free Fallin”, “Mary Janes Last Dance”, “American Girl” and “You Don’t Know How it Feels.

Although Petty has worked with The Heartbreakers for the majority of his career, he has been known to release solo work on occasion.  His most recent release was in 2006, called Highway companion.  He performed the majority of the background instrumentation himself.
