Eliot Spitzer Vague in Apology Related to Prostitution Ring

New York Governor Eliot Spitzer showed no real signs of resigning from his post despite a vague public apology dealing the stunning allegations that he was involved in a prostitution ring.

Spitzer admitted to violating his obligation to his family and acknowledged he failed to meet the standards he had set for himself yet he made no announcement stating plans to resign as New York governor.

As part of his brief press conference Spitzer ultimately said politics was not about individuals but about ideas. That statement has led many to believe Spitzer will try to remain in office.

Spitzer did say that he would need time to try and repair the trust he may have lost with his family. The 48-year-old governor is married with three children.
