Equinix Inc (NASDAQ:EQIX) to Speak at Citigroup Small and Mid Cap Emerging Growth Conference March 17

Equinix Inc (NASDAQ:EQIX), a global provider of network-neutral data center and interconnection services, will be present at the Citigroup Small and Midd Cap Emerging Growth conference on Monday, March 17 at 4:45 pm.  Equinix is involved in the provision of network neutral collocation, interconnection and managed services to enterprises, content companies and systems integrators.

Through Internet Business Exchange hubs in 18 markets in the United States, Asia-Pacific and Europe, Equinix enables clients to interconnect with each other directly for traffic exchange requirements.  The company’s services include collocation, interconnection and managed information technology infrastructure services.

Collocation consists of cabinets, power, operations space and storage space.  Interconnection includes cross connects for switch ports on the Equinix Exchange service.   Managed IT infrastructure makes it possible for customers to use telecommunications capabilities.

Equinix acquired IXEurope Plc on September 14, 2007 and Virtu Secure Webservices B.V. in February of 2008.
