Ashlee Crocitto, Abducted Pregnant Teen, Found in Mexico

The 16-year-old pregnant teenager abducted from her southern California home at knifepoint has been found in Mexico, along with her former boyfriend who allegedly committed the crime.

Ashlee Crocitto was abducted on Saturday after 20-year-old Carlos Antonio waited for the teen at her mother’s house and when she arrived he forced her into his car and fled. Crocitto is said to have dated Antonio for some time and is four months pregnant with his child but ended the relationship after he became abusive.

Crocitto’s mother insisted that her daughter’s disappearance was not a ploy to run away with Antonio. Ashlee called her mother several times since Saturday to tell her she was alright yet police still handled the case as an abduction.

Police quickly put out a description of Antonio’s car and by Monday evening the pair were found in Mexico. Now details on charges have been released.
