Ballantyne of Omaha engages in the manufacture, distribution and provision of service for the theater exhibition industry.  Through the company’s entertainment lighting division, the company is involved in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of lighting systems to the entertainment lighting industry worldwide.  The company also offers replacement parts, marinades and breading products to the food service industry.

The company is organized into three business segments, theater, lighting and restaurant.

Theater manufactures, distributes and services projection equipment and accessories for the motion picture exhibition industry.

Lighting designs, manufactures and distributes lighting systems to the global entertainment lighting industry.

Restaurant provides marinade and breading products to the food service industry.

The company acquired Marcel Desrochers Inc in October 2007.
