David Letterman had the "Top 10 Eliot Spitzer Excuses" during a segment in his show Monday night, adding to the jokes made on the account of the New York governor.
Letterman said that Spitzer ran his campaign as attorney general by saying he would "arrest the crooks, beat 'em up and then arrest them again".
Letterman then announced his "Top 10 Eliot Spitzer Excuses". The list goes as follows:

On Monday, Gov. Spitzer announced that he was involved in a prostitution ring, which would later be identified as the recent scandal at the Emperors Club VIP in New York.
