Chapel Hill Police to Hold Press Conference Concerning Eve Carson Murder Suspect

The Chapel Hill Police Department are expected to hold a press conference later today to discuss the arrest of a man they believe to be involved in the murder of University of North Carolina student Eve Carson.

The man was detained by Durham police during a late night raid on Tuesday and was then transported to Chapel Hill for questioning. While police have not released a name or directly said the man is connected to the Eve Carson case a video of the man clearly identifies him as the man in the ATM photos that officials had been circulating.

Eve Carson was murdered last week and her body was found early Thursday morning. Police said the 22-year-old student body president had been shot multiple times.
