Chunghwa Telecom Co Ltd (NYSE:CHT) to Hold Q4 2007 Earnings Conference Call March 27

A telecommunications service provider, Chunghwa Telecom Co Ltd (NYSE:CHT) will hold a conference call on Thursday, March 27 at 6:00 am to discuss the fourth quarter earnings for 2007.

Based in Taiwan, Chunghwa Telecom’s primary services consist of fixed-line services, such as local, domestic long distance, international long distance telephone services, intelligent network and integrated services digital network.  The company also offers wireless services, such as a global system for mobile communications and third generation services, as well as Internet and data services, such as HiNet, asymmetrical digital subscriper loop services and leased line services.

During 2006, 40%, 33% and 25% of revenue were from the company’s wireless services, fixed line services and internet and data services.  That same year the company had two major subsidiaries and eight major associates.
