Ashley Dupre's MySpace page is no longer available Thursday for unknown reasons.
On Thursday, Dupre, 22, was identified as "Kristen", the hooker at the Emperor's Club VIP whose relationship with New York Governor Eliot Spitzer cost him his job. Spitzer announced his resignation Wednesday, moving Lt. Gov. David Paterson into his position, effective Mar. 17.
Ashley Alexandra Dupre's MySpace page reportedly received two million page views in less than 24 hours after her identity was publicized. Her page was equipped with photos and a song, "What We Want", which reached one million downloads on iTunes today alone.
Her pics and song have flooded the Internet, as well as her background information. Ashley Alexandra Dupre was born Ashley Youmans. She grew up in New Jersey, but left her family and her brother Kyle to pursue music in New York at age 17. Along the way, Dupre legally changed her name to Ashley Rae Maika DiPietro.
On her MySpace page, Dupre describes her struggles and her intent to be a musician. There is no mention of her role in the prostitution ring at the Emperor's Club VIP.
