Steve-O was hospitalized for observation Thursday for his recent suspicious behavior.
On Sunday, the "Jackass" star was planning to execute a stunt in which he would take a 25-foot fall onto concrete. The fall was supposed to cushioned by cardboard boxes and trash cans.
However, Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Glover, was taken to the Medical Center on Sunday by Johnny Knoxville and Dimitry Elyaschevich due to his recent behavior.
A week before the stunt, Glover had been arrested for allegedly vandalizing his neighbor's property, and a felony drug charge for possession of cocaine during the incident was added this week, his arraignment for which was scheduled for Thursday.
Glover was not available to enter the plea, so the arraignment judge entered a bench warrant for his arrest.
Due to his vandalism of his neighbor's property, Glover was evicted from his apartment and decided to do the stunt as a last hurrah, to take advantage of the clearing from the loft.
During the week, the mentions of suicide and dying in his e-mails to family and close friends worried his inner circle. Knoxville and Elyaschevich decided to take him to the hospital due to his symptoms of bipolar disorder.
