Accenture Ltd (NYSE:CAN) to Release Q2 2008 Earnings March 27

A management consulting, technology services and outsourcing organization, Accenture Ltd (NYSE:CAN) will release the second quarter earnings for 2008 on Thursday, March 27.

Accenture is based in 49 countries and is operated within five operating groups, comprised of 17 industry groups serving clients in industries around the world.  Industries served include, Communications & High Tech, Financial Services, Products, Resources and Public Service.

The company acquired Digiplug SAS in March 2007.  Digiplug provided outsourced mobile content repurposing and distribution services to the music and communications industries.  The company was acquired from Faith Inc of Kyoto, Japan.

Accenture acquired George Group in September 2007.  George Group was a privately held management consulting firm involved in helping companies and governments to enhance their performance through process improvements and streamlined operations.

The company also acquired Corliant Inc and MAXIM Systems Inc in December 2007, Gestalt LLC in January 2008 and Maxamine in February 2008.
