Marketing Turned Easy: PostcardMania.com 4.0

PostcardMania, the nation’s direct mail postcard poster child, launches its new website... keeping in line with their successful action of giving valuable, often dearly paid-for advice, away for FREE.

Barely 10 years ago, PostcardMania was an unknown fledgling company.  Started by Joy Gendusa, the company has grown into a multi-million dollar enterprise with only a little-known idea (the direct mail postcard) and no capital investment of any kind.  Throughout that expansion there have been launches of several versions of their website… now the newest version, PostcardMania.com 4.0.  According to Gendusa the newest version still maintains the basic premise of the company’s success — giving away what others charge dearly for: sound marketing advice.

 

Clients of PostcardMania that also market aggressively using direct mail postcards have too succeeded in wildly growing their companies; witness Measurable Solutions and The Kitchen Guild, both PostcardMania clients, who have been lauded for their expansion via Entrepreneur Magazine and Inc. Magazine respectively.

 

Through Gendusa’s initial market research in her company’s beginning phases, it was discovered that there was not one postcard company extant that was marketing to general businesses.  She also ascertained in her investigation that entrepreneurs had to:

1)      either pay dearly for marketing advice to ad agencies in order to gain the knowledge they needed in order to succeed in that arena,  or

2)      had to have commercial printers print their direct mail campaigns, but unfortunately were missing the valuable marketing lore that the ad agencies heavily guarded. 

 

Gendusa innovated the industry by providing her prospects and clients with free valuable marketing advice that ad agencies charged dearly for.  All PostcardMania’s website versions provided definitions to marketing terms and marketing articles from Gendusa’s own “trial and errors” to help empower the entrepreneur.
